- Good location - Very clean - Beds comfy

- Booked for the terrace but misunderstood that it was not private from the pictures. Be aware if booking it is shared with many others. - Did not receive breakfast as advertised in listing.

We felt like we had stepped back in time to a magical era. People traveled so far to look at the trulli from outside in Alberobello but we were able to live inside one that had been restored to be comfortable for today with landscaped ancient grounds with paths and gardens and terraces that were beyond imagination.

It was not close to many things so a car was required, but once we figured out how to deal with the GPS, we were fine. The privacy of roaming around the outside of our terraces and gardens was amazing and every important touch had been added. Words cannot adequately describe how lovely this place is.

Our host was lovely. She was very helpful and used Google translate to talk to us which was so sweet. Our room was very comfortable and clean with a communal roof terrace with ample furniture and views of the sea and the Basilica San Nicola.

It was a top of the building with very steep stairs and the last part a quirky spiral staircase. This would not be appropriate for less able travellers.

Beautiful room & en suite in superb location on edge of old city. Sarah our host was so lovely. Google translate helped and she made sure we understood everything. Room was cleaned & towels replaced daily. Beautiful rooftop terrace to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening overlooking the harbour.

We were on top floor so there’s 50 plus steps to our room on narrow stairs & another 16 odd to the lovely roof terrace. Worth the trek !! Definitely not suited for anyone with any mobility or health problems. Having said that there was absolutely nothing to dislike about the property

Lot of stairs 🙈, but this is nobody’s fault…! Cardio 💯!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at San Nicola d'Amare. Our room was lovely and clean with an amazing view from our balcony. The view from the rooftop terrace was even better. We were greeted by the friendly owner who explained everything to us, including where to go for the included breakfast. The location was excellent with everything that we wanted to see in walking distance - not to mention access to so many restaurants and little shops. I would definitely stay at this lovely little place again.

We were on the upper floor, so I didn't love the stairs, but after a couple times, I got used to them. I was offered a room on a lower floor, but for me it was worth the climb for the view and I would do it again. The challenge was getting our luggage up and down. If you have mobility issues, you might want to book a room on a lower level.

very nice host. location is very good as well. beautifull city. during the night is a little bit aloud, but it will be like that everywhere in the old city in bari.

Perfect place to stay and enjoy Bari and neigbourhoud. Localisation in the beautiful area, perfect for walking, sightseeing etc. You can feel the place, enjoy moments, calm down, hear ringing bells…

Bigger bathtube would be nice, but considering the fact that this is medivieal architecture You couldn’t ask for more
