2 Bed Boutique Apartment with free parking

New modern property that had lots of kitchen equipment & really comfy beds.

The lounge only has seating for 3 so not suitable for 4 people. The location is really poor, in the middle of a housing estate & industrial units. The main front door of the building doesn’t lock so didn’t feel particularly safe given the nature of the location. A good 20 mins walk into the centre of York.

it’s lovely, clean and warm, view overlooks the carpark which isn’t the best but for a base it’s ideal.

The only issue is the pillows in the bedrooms, really hard, cheap pillows

Beautiful apartment equipped with all essential amenities to make your stay comfortable. The apartment is well located with close proximity to the city center. Grocery shops are within walking distance from the apartment with Morrisons just 3 mins walk from the property. I will be remiss if I fail to mention the self check-in and out system implemented by this establishment coupled with the convenience of a smart TV with Netflix making the evenings after a walk on the city walls relaxing.

The checkout time of 10am is too early. A noon check out will be ideal.

Close enough to walk directly into York took us about 10 mins. it has an allocated parking space so it is always guaranteed. Had everything you need and was very clean. Contact free checkin.

Very minor downside was 2 plug-in air fresheners had been left on so the aroma was a bit overpowering.

It is a lovely flat with all facilities - it is 2 min walk from Morrisons, 4 min walk from Aldi and Starbucks and 12-14 min walk to the city center and all the tourist spots. The flat was reasonably clean, very quiet, warm and has all facilities including a washing machine which is not mentioned in the description. Most restaurants deliver to the flat as it is so central. The best part is that there was no noise that is common in hotels. The kitchen had everything you may need in terms of utensils and even salt, pepper, tea, coffee and sugar were available.

Constructive criticism - the management might want to change the cleaning company. There was a thick layer of dust behind bedside tables and cobwebs hanging from lights in the living room. The duvet cover in the main bedroom had a black mark that looked like a shoe print. Most utensils were very clean but coffee mugs had a thick layer of coffee residue that we had to scrub with boiling water before use. Also, the mattresses were not very comfortable - a mattress topper can fix it. My husband is six feet tall and his feet were hanging off the bed. Pillows were also thin and hard. After walking 10-12 miles a day we really would have liked a more comfortable bed.
