The spa facilities are a bit dated—- the massage table was hard. And the spa facilities should be included in the price but they are extra.

It was over-priced in our view and the room was fairly small for the price we had to pay--C$500 per night. Food was lukewarm at the dinner buffet. At breakfast, we saw a kitchen worker come and used her hands to scoop out diced cheese, instead of using a serving spoon which was available.

Breakfast was superb. Plenty of choice. Lots of fruit. As we are vegetarian, the breakfasts suited us very well. We thought that there could have been more protein-based vegetarian main courses at dinner. This did not bother us too much, as the salads were excellent. The dining rooms were well serviced by the staff, who were all friendly and helpful. The grounds are lovely, and so is the kibbutz.

One thing you could do better when cleaning the rooms is not to throw away the soap every time. This seemed very wasteful to us. Another odd thing was that we had TV remote, but no TV. At first I thought the mirror was the TV, but realised it wasn't when it didn't respond to the remote. We did not need a TV at all, so this did not matter. We think you could give guests more guidance on where to find the shop in the kibbutz. The plan we were given was not very informative. We also think it would be helpful if there could be some clear information on the local buses (Nos 35 and 36: the timetables and where they go).
