Casa Carmine - Taormina Centro

Location was perfect right at the start of the gate to catania. Right where you want to be if you want to see the town up on the hill. You can see Mt Etna from the laundry room window. Great place to eat right behind the building. 2 toilets that is always a bonus.

Everything was great. There were some narrow stairs but it was not an issue for us.

Fantastic location in terms of the old town, historical sights and restaurants. The accommodation has all essential items to be self sufficient and is very comfortable. The Host Lella was wonderful and passed on many fabulous local recommendations including a Mount Etna Tour, Sicily Sensations with guide Paolo . This tour is highlight of our visit to Taormina. We would absolutely return, thankyou Lella!

The location is the key point of this accommodation, within the center and possible to do everything on foot.

There are many stairs inside the house, and they are quite deep. We were unable to get our bags down from the car to the accommodation, which is not stated in the accommodation advertisement. Furthermore, the second bedroom has a very low ceiling. Our family is quite tall and this is quite difficult. There was limited hot water, which made things a bit difficult for a family of four.

The location was very central and perfect!

The stairs were very steep however that is to be expected in these parts of Europe. Just good to know if you have poor mobility.

Excellent property, excellent location, truly wonderful host. We're looking forward to come back again!! Indeed three floors could be challenging, but we quickly got used to it.

We have stayed recently in Casa Carmine for 5 nights and it was a great choice. First of all, the building is located in the center which makes it easy to reach the main attraction of the city. Secondly, communication with our host Andre was great. He made sure that had all we needed to enjoy our stay and was easy to reach. We felt looked after which made our holiday even more special. The cleaness of the Casa was 10/10 and little things like coffe capsules, complimentary bottles of shanpoo and shower gel etc. made the difference. Definateley a place to reccomend. We will be back.

The apartment was very comfortable and in a good location. The host Andrea was the best host I’ve encountered and I travel a lot. He was extremely responsive from the minute the booking was confirmed. He provided parking instructions with Google map location, restaurant suggestions, and most importantly, he assisted with our luggage which was a huge help! I highly recommend this property and the best host ever!!!
