The Cloves Farm Shepherd’s Hut

A lovely self contained getaway. The hut has everything you need. There is a bbq and log fire which came supplied with coal and wood. The hosting couple were lovely and made sure we were comfortable. We will hope to be back here soon

Very comfortable, cosy and well equipped. Host provides lots of extras in the form of provisions, toiletries and even bath robes which positively adds to comfort and overall experience. In a quiet spot with wonderful view facing towards the sunset ! but still within a 15 minute easy walk to the lovely village centre with its welcoming and cosy pub serving excellent food. Walks and cycle trails nearby are wonderful. Easy access from A30 is a bonus. We will certainly return.

Only thing I would change is the artwork which wasn’t to my taste and did not reflect locality which was a shame.

Absolutely stunning location, the shepherds hut was beautiful, very cosy, exceptionally clean and lots of added extras that were very much appreciated. Corrine was lovely and greeted us shortly after arrival, she made us feel very welcome. I can’t recommend Cloves farm enough. We returned home feeling very relaxed and will definitely book again! Thank you for a wonderful break.

We really enjoyed our stay the hut was lovely and comfortable had everything we needed plus their was extra personal touches like robes ect,we will definitely be back such a beautiful peaceful place to stay ❤️

Absolutely amazing - highly recommended! Everything has been carefully thought out and catered for, this place really has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The hut is beautifully decorated, the bathroom is a great size with a lovely shower, the bed is comfortable too. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. The view is stunning and the stars at night are magical. We will definitely be visiting again. The nearby pub called Castle Inn is a must visit, as well as some great sights like Lynford Gorge.

The bathroom was luxurious, hard to believe it’s in a shepherd’s hut! Loads of little extra touches, food and drink in the fridge, lovely products in the bathroom.

Cosy, clean, nice owners & beautiful view

The shepherds hut was gorgeous, really well equipped, everything was thoughtful and tasteful. The location was lovely and great to explore Dartmoor.
