Burnt Island 2 bed apartment with stunning views

Great location, roomy, and good price. We don't count the stairs in this as we were aware of it in advance.

Beds not very comfortable. One in particular had a completely broken frame that had been repaired but nothing will fix it as the 3 main parts are broken through. This needs to be replaced completely. I did a temporary repair on a leg that fell off, and at least after that we no longer rolled into the middle of the bed.

Very clean property.

No elevator. Long way to top floor.

The apartment is well maintained, and the host is really nice and responds to queries.

We weren't aware that the apartment was at the top of the building, and there were no lifts.

We did enjoy the views and the afternoon sun that streamed into the Lounge. Everything we needed was there. We met the owner who was extremely helpful. The little extras such as provisions, tea, coffee etc, sauces, biscuits and even a bottle of Prosecco were there for our use. Very much appreciated.

Seeing the outside of the property was a bit of a shock, but once inside it had everything we needed and the great views.

Great handy location and easy access to train station. Only about 40 mins into Edinburgh Waverley. Lovely wee comfy flat. Free parking very nearby

Bed in main bedroom had a very heavy wooden base which stuck out a bit and was easy to walk into.

Fantastic flat
