Great location, close to main town and easy access from station. Lots of options nearby for great food, coffee drinks. Decor was really stylish, classic Georgian style building with lovely features. Great facilities in terms of WiFi, Smart TVs. Good size for two people/couple. Clear instructions and recommendations for local places to visit.

Lovely high ceilings but unseasonably cold December, meant the flat was freezing and really difficult to heat up. Also single glazing/thin windows and proximity to local bars meant sleeping well wasn’t an option - loud music and noisy/drunk patrons until 3.30am every single night (we were there Monday and checked out Sunday). Bed large but was two beds connected which was really obvious and uncomfortable - they could do with getting some decent mattress toppers as even avoiding the connection in the middle the beds were really hard and not comfy/cosy. Similarly, the sofas were really beautiful but not comfy for lounging on - we stayed for a week so not a big deal if you’re staying for a short visit but if you’re planning a night or two in, be aware that it’s not very cosy! Requested slightly early check-in (30 minutes) in advance and on the day, which was denied - given it was snowing and incredibly cold we did turn up at the property 20 mins early to check if possible to come in slightly earlier and it was empty! It also wasn’t that well cleaned when we did arrive (hairs in shower, marks in toilet, and bar stool chairs dusty/crumbs) - so expected better when told we couldn’t arrive early due to cleaning.

Overall the property is pleasant. At first look, it's very pretty and stylish, with a beautiful arrangement of the living room/kitchen and interesting period-style details throughout. Also, initially, the location seemed to be great with the proximity to many sights and couple of restaurants nearby. We liked how modern the kitchen was, and that keys were substituted with keypad based security locks.

I would not recommend this property to a family with small children. Firstly, even though the property claims it can fit 6 people, sofa beds need substantial rearrangement for this to happen, so it's very impractical. Also, one of the sofas was actually broken, which made our sleeping arrangements quite inconvenient. Secondly, if you wish to go to bed before 12 pm, and you are staying over the weekend, it would be a difficult task, as windows don't have real soundproof features (as they are original period ones), and the nearby restaurants have tables outside. One can hear people talk as loud as if they are in the flat. On top of that, Fashion Museum that is right next door had some ball type of event, and the music has been playing very loud until midnight, again heard perfectly well inside the bedroom. Thus, this accommodation suits rather a couple who comes to experience Bath nightlife and not someone who expects to sleep before midnight.
