The LITTLE HOUSE in HULL

Great spacious little house - bigger than expected - with lots of amenities. A well kitted-out little kitchen. Approx a 10min drive to Hull centre, and less than half hour to Beverley so good location to visiting both, with space to park the car. Lots of heating options, including an electric fire. It was snowing when we stayed and we managed to stay nice and cosy in the evenings. There was bread, spread, fruit, biscuits and Xmas chocolates left for us which was a really nice touch! The beds and chairs were very comfy. There was plenty of room in the lounge for our travel cot. The hosts are really friendly too - thanks for having us!

Nothing really. If I was being picky it would maybe feel more private if there was a curtain over the front door as you have to walk past it to get to the bathroom. It also would be nice to have a sofa instead of all chairs in the lounge, but the chairs were very comfy. I also would've loved to sample some fresh eggs (not a negative for the hosts - I'm just greedy) 😋 really though we had a wonderful stay and would love to come back!

Location was excellent

Small point but a curtain at the glass door would be good to stop potential flashing on the way to bathrooms!

An absolute gem find. Very comfortable, a home away from home. Our hosts were very friendly, so nice to have the basic food provided on arrival, along with so much fresh fruit and flowers and fresh eggs delivered to your door from their hens:-) Close to the University and some amazing restaurants and a park to walk the dog. A ten out of ten all round, we will be back.

We were so sorry that we were only able to stay one night. The hosts were fantastic and the annex was so well appointed. It was so warm and comfortable. If anyone is ever looking to stay in Hull, I would certainly recommend this place. In addition, our dog was so well received.

From the moment we arrived, we dropped all tensions of travel, and settled in to our comfortable cottage. We were greeted as friends by our hosts Clare and Gene, and introduced by name to the chickens, dogs, cats, guinea pigs and budgies, all rescues. We love this place!

The best stay of our vacation! Clare is the warmest and most welcoming person you'll ever meet. Be aware if you travel with dog(s) that they are the star of the show, Moses (our dog) had the time of his life. The cottage is well equipped, clean and spacious. We've even got a nice welcoming package. Thanks again for the great stay, lots of love from Moses!
