Convenience as it’s 12min walk to V&A Waterfront

They don’t have smart TV it’s literally 5 news channels playing…on vacation you’re not there to watch news you’re there to have fun

Lovely friendly welcome very peaceful location. Excellent sized room and some super communal space. Convienient shops and bars close by and a pleasant walking distance to the V&A waterfront. Really enjoyed my stay here ideal for a solo traveller new to Cape Town and in need of a chillax after such a long journey to get there.

Needs a bit of TLC fridge in room dodgy froze my salad and fruit, door needed a sock to stop it rattling all night.

"Safe, affordable accommodation in Cape Town"

Blake, the onsite Manager was responsive prior to my visit in answering my questions via email. The check in time was flexible. Originally I though it was going to be late at night and Blake was very accommodating, although I did happen to get there earlier than I expected. The Strangers Club cafe next door was very popular with interesting decor, good food and coffee. There was a supermarket nearby with a good range of food and drinks as well as other restaurants and cafes. I walked to the V&A Waterfront from the guesthouse. I felt ok in the day but it would not be recommended at all at night. Great kitchen and comfortable communal lounge area with a sea view from the entrance.

It was a little way up the hill for solo travelers coming back alone at night on foot from nearby restaurants for example.
