Birmingham Ruby, 2 bedroom Apartment

This property is a fraud and scam. I had to deposit £250 as security out of which they deducted £110 for unknown reason. They haven't credited me yet with the remaining amount. Guests to be really careful in selecting this property. The owner Mustansir Lakda doesn't attend my calls or reply messages. They have advertised several other properties by different names like Ruby, diamond etc. Will register my complaint on booking.com.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms and is comfortable. There's an open space living room plus TV, kitchen and dining table. The location is close to shops, restaurants, library, theatre, and conference centre. Also on walkable distance from the CBD with its National Museum and Cathedral ao.

The digital key checkin is daunting, and it depends on your mobile phone. Staff was helpful via WhatsApp messages. One of the bedrooms is at the front of the building, which makes the living room quite dark.

Property was disgusting. Not clean. Floor had holes in it, doors hanging off, radiator hanging off the wall, exposed wires. We were offered a second apartment which smelt bad too and we where feeling completely unsafe after finding a ring doorbell box inside & the owner being threatening and gaslighting us when we asked to leave after being at the property for 30 mins and our child hurting herself on the floor. we will be taking this further as we spent over £800 for an hour 30 in the property which was not safe. The poor lady who worked there couldn’t apologise enough and has clearly seen this scam artist over again and again. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Location was ideal apartment was adequate size for the time we were there ,a few things could do with updating but over all pleasant enough apartment was clean and tidy

Lovely clean apartment and exactly like the photos. Close to the city centre. Convenient digital key system.

Slightly noisy on a Saturday night until the early hours of the morning. Unpleasant smell of cigarettes on the ground floor by the lift.
