Central Windsor 2 bedroom flat with free parking

The ground floor flat was a good size and in a great location for legoland (8mins and one road). Beds were good and had a cot for our baby. Also a highchair.

The flat wasn't the cleanest as our children walked around barefoot and their feet were black so they were made to keep their shoes on. Also there was rubbish under the beds and sofas when we arrived. It stated that there was towels which there was but not enough for the booked amount of guests or of great size. There is parking for one car but only if it's a small one as it a reduced size space. Washing machine but no washing powder provided. Dinning table caters for 4 people only

Lovely location. Windsor is a beautiful place. Close to river for boat trips, restaurants, pubs, shopping, castle.

Nothing

As soon as you opened the door, the apartment smelt damp and bad. The sofas were uncomfortable. The beds cheap, cheap pillows, no spare pillows/towels. Towels were tiny and hard. I found a cup of tea/coffee in microwave which had clearly been there a while as had mould on the top. There was a vomit stain on the bedroom carpet, right where your head would be, very unpleasant. The worse thing about this apartment is the toilet, doesn't flush properly, raises up to the top every time and doesn't take away the paper etc and the owner left a plunger next to the toilet??!!! I'm NOT plunging a toilet, the facilities should work especially when charging £240 a night. Would not recommend anyone stay here and personally feel this apartment should be removed from being rented until problems fixed.

Clean/tidy/good responses to queries

Toilet seat loose & disconnected one side-had to remove & repair. Toilet constantly backed up-had to use plunger a number of times.☹️ Hot water cut-out on 2 occasions during attempts to run a bath-very frustrating as it takes a long time to fill bath only to find hot water had cut out during fill & bath cold so had to restart.

we struggled to get the keys, we phoned and were then given the code.

the toilet was blocked, and it nearly over flowed. We phone, and were instructed to use a plunger. this was not ok, we used the plunger several times, making everyone feel bad about using the toilet. I guess it will cost a lot to put the toilet right.
