The Tavern at Hale

Lovely room, very spacious, had the Superior king room, bed comfy and clean. Very friendly staff, they were lovely and very accommodating, went above and beyond, made us feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble.  The food is tasty; bistro pub grub and there was plenty of it. Would definitely stay again if in the area, £99 B&B incl breakfast, absolutely value for money.

Needs a chair or two in the room, no where to sit, plenty of space for them. Nespresso machine part missing, couldnt use it, had instant, but only decaf coffee available.

The beds were very comfortable and the shower was huge!

The cleaning wasn’t great but it wasn’t too grim. The breakfast was pretty good although there was no menu and no cereal/pastries to help yourself to. We also only got one cup of coffee and weren’t offered a refill. The road noise could be a problem if you like to have a window open but didn’t bother us.

Great place, but there is nothing around. Only a few minutes drive to a small town though. The shower was great, bed was comfortable.

The road was a bit noisy at times

The room was large.

No personal touches, no pictures, no mirror in the room, no chairs or stool. Breakfast was an experience.

Traffic noise was more intrusive than we expected

Suzzi the manager was lovely and other staff. Accommodation was really goof.

Was concerned about the speed of the traffic which was not the fault of the accommodation. I said in Scotland they have 20 mph zones where families are.
