What a brilliant and beautiful apartment. It even came with a bottle of wine. Our host could not have been more welcoming, and went out of his way to look after us. We have been staying in different accommodation over the last 5 weeks as we walk the via Francigina, and this apartment is the best yet.

Clean modern apartment in a 500 year old building. Michele was very prompt and helpful. Room sizes were surprisingly large for Europe.

Greeted by friendly host and shown through the property. Well appointed with excellent amenities. Unique 15th century property. Location was perfect. A very comfortable bed.

This is the best accommodation we have had the pleasure to stay in whilst in Italy. In the medieval part of the town, within the walls this apartment is amazing. On arrival our hosts collected us for a short drive from the railway station and showed us around the apartment which was larger than we expected. They were so helpful and also provided a great “welcome box” of fine pasta, good local wine and even Easter pastries. Spotlessly clean and has everything needed for a good stay of one or several days. Everything in the apartment was new and high quality. The bed was the most comfortable bed in Italy!! . We would not hesitate to recommend this to others and hope to return.

Great apartment in a super location. The hostess provided a free bottle of wine - what a beautiful touch of class! The apartment had everything you need and was much larger than expected. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Same for the pillows. First class stay.

The only nit was I bumped my head twice on the entrance to the bathroom area. I am 6 feet tall. After doing this twice, I learned to duck my head. No big deal.

The place is super lovely, very clean and well-thought of. Martina and Michele make this place a home, with all necessities well organized and logically placed, books and even first-aid kit!! The bed is very comfortable. Heating system is easy to use and efficient. Cookwares are clean with no scratch. I love everything about this apartment, including its location in a historic building.

In term of knife, there is only one big knife and table knife in the kitchen, and there is no cooking oil so it is not ideal (but manageable) for us since we cook.

Hiking the Via Francigena. Beautiful apartment. Wonderful, responsive host. I would stay here again!
