La sosta di Arrigo

As soon as we arrived our hosts treated us like family. They organised winery tours, a pasta class, recommended the best restaurants, cocktail bar and they pointed us towards the best coffee in town. Invited us to dinner and introduced us to our driver who we both loved. The apartment was clean, modern, well appointed and more generous than the photos. It was right in the heart of the old town centre and we could not have been happier. The welcome pack full of wine and pasta fed us for the first week! We feel like we have a whole new family

Very beautiful apartment in the old part of town, rustic but nicely renovated, loved the free coffee, paper towles, sucker, soap ect. Dont have to bring/buy everything everytime. Very very clean. Arrived by bike a little earlier that planed which was no problem.

The loud nighttime disaggrement of the upstairs neighbors must be part of the Italian charm ?

The hosts, Martina and Michele, are really the most hospitable hosts! If you are planning to stay in the area, don't hesitate to book this place. We had been staying in Italy for 2 weeks before we arrived at their place and we really felt like it was the best place we stayed at the entire trip. The location is in Buonconvento, a super cute town that transports you immediately back into time. The property itself is so spacious, super clean, and the hosts had thoughtfully provided coffee and wine. It is such a unique experience to stay in a building that was constructed in the 14th century~ you really appreciate the history and quality of the building. We met Martina after checking in and she walked us around town and introduced us to local restaurant owners and showed us which places she recommended us to shop at and eat at. We loved everything she suggested and even went back to one restaurant twice! The cherry on the top of all of this was that we had told our hosts we had difficulty getting transportation to a venue 10 minutes away. They ended up giving us a ride to and back, and asked for nothing in return. We are truly awed and warmed by their generosity.

The only thing we are sad about is that we could not extend our stay and stay there longer.

The apartment is located centrally in the old town. The town of Buonconvento is very nice, well worth a visit. The facilities were excellent, host very attentive. Nice touch with a welcome bottle of wine, kitchen well equipped, heating and beds excellent.

Sympathetic New modernization with all mod cons in a gorgeous 400 year old building best of both worlds. Great facilities and nicely stocked

The house was clean. The kitchen and the bedroom and the living room were well furnished and functional. Quiet.

The bathroom maybe a little small (but perfectly usable), but we must consider that it is a house in the historic center and therefore serves the original layout of the houses.

This is a darling apartment in a quiet, ancient, unspoiled town surrounded by lovely vistas. It would be a dream to have a long stay. Martina, who couldn't have been more warm, welcoming, and helpful with the parking and luggage, had a bottle of wine and 2 beautiful glasses waiting for us. (I wish we could have made use of them, but we weren't drinking much.) The place is brand new, tasteful and charming, thoughtfully equipped with everything one might need. An added pleasure was the cooing of the doves outside the windows.

Absolutely no complaints. Everything was excellent.
