Randa's House I Homestay

We felt so welcomed straight away. Norbert and Monica really tried to help us plan activities, to make sure we had a good time during our stay. Their girls are so cute, and so nice to be around.

I loved the place. Monica and her husband norbet was so wonderful, kind and helpful throughout my stay at the guesthouse. She prepared vegetarian meal upon my request and her food was so homey and delicious especially her peanut sauce and pumkin soup and not forgeting her pancake. She always served tea/coffee and fruits. I was never hungry. Not only that, she ensured my hiking trip went well, help to arrange my transportation and ensure all my laundry is done. I stayed for 5 days and they took care of me as family. Above all, her kids Kara and Nikka was so charming and made my stay delightful and entertaining. I will highly recommend this place and will come back to visit them as my friend.

The location is not that near to city center but manageable

Staying with Monica and her family absolutely made my Rwandan trip. They are kind and welcoming, helpful with ensuring your time in the area is well spent, and make you feel like part of the family. Thank you for everything ❤️

the water pressure was a little weak

Excellent accommodation that deserves far more visitors. One of my favourite places I've ever stayed at. Very welcoming hosts, clean and comfortable room, great freshly cooked breakfast and dinner both included. Very suitable for visiting Volcanoes National Park, you can have breakfast at 6 am and easily get to the park headquarters. Will definitely return if I'm in Musanze again and recommend it to my friends.

Amazing homestay in Musanze. If you go to this beautiful place, stay here. You are part of the family, even if it is just for a few nights. Breakfast and dinner are included and both were amazing. They also have loads of info on what you can do in Rwanda and can organize things for you if you like.

I loved this homestay so much I came back again three weeks later! After leaving the homestay on my first stay I went to Uganda, but I missed the family and I missed their lovely home environment so I returned. It’s been wonderful to be back. It’s my favorite place to stay in all of Rwanda. Thank you Monique and Norbert!!
