Family apartment sleeps 6 in botanic Queens area

Like a home away from home

Location was perfect Flat was warm and loads of hot water for showers etc. Facilities in the apartment were great.

Location ideal for visiting QUB. About a 15 minute walk into city centre. A bit of a walk to a main bus route if not particularly mobile but not impossible. Property was very clean and comfortable. Hosts replied really quickly to any queries/requests. Some lovely restaurants in the area; would recommend (the very close) Bo Tree Cafe for Thai food, and (further away) The Barking Dog Restaurant.

Only one toilet, so a bit of consideration/organisation needed if the group is a bit bigger!

Apartment was clean and comfortable and owner Zoe very helpful with any questions I had . We were over for the British isle bowling and found it a good location for the indoor bowling club, taxi's were reasonable and prompt after phoning although it was an automated booking system which some people may not like.

Liked location, easy on street parking - but this was not the apartment advertised

This was not the apartment shown in the photos. When we queried this the response was as follows: " " Does your apartment not sleep 5? You are indeed in the heart of Belfast.. Pictures can be dicieving of room space. You are actually in the largest apartment in the building." No apology or explanation offered. We felt this was unsatisfactory and deceptive. We esp booked the apartment based on the photos which were untrue, for our family reunion. There was also no hot water or beating on arrival. Whilst we were sent reset instructions on informing the manager we had no hot water overnight. The plumber next day said there was an ongoing issue with the boiler which should have been sorted or at least checked. There was also another unscheduled maintenance visit we were not informed of. Prior to arrival, the check in process required uploading identity documents to an unknown third party - not booking.com We feel there is a real data privacy issue here, which we are referring to booking.com.data protection. As we didn't upload this we had no check-in information and had to phone on arrival. After leaving we received an email suggesting that we should give them 4-5 stars and interpreting Airbnb's scaling system for us -i it was an encouragement to rate highly even though we didn't book through Airbnb.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable apartment with everything you could need. Ample parking, close to amenities and only a short walk to the city centre.
