Sisi's Place

We loved Sisi's place! Clean comfortable and strong enough wifi to work remotely. The room has high-end quality finishings. Quality bed and sheets. Brand new sparkling clean toilet and tiles. We enjoyed the view from the balcony set higher than surrounding buildings. Also we enjoyed the train passing my. The family was so kind and sweet. The breakfast was large, and all very good items included. We especially loved the fresh juices, coconut roti, and fruit platter, which included my favorite passion fruit. Book early is they are often sold out. We've stayed in many accommodations in Bentota and this is one of the best! Also very close to the beach. Tea, coffee, and water in the room. The room is very large and has good air flow. The floors were spotless, so you could walk barefoot comfortably. Also, the bathroom didn't have a moldy smell like many bathrooms do from moisture in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend. We loved the custom card they gave us upon departure.

Fantastic stay in a great hotel. Very helpful and friendly owner, who every morning provides a delicious and extremely generous breakfast. It's in a brilliant location - just a couple of minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and train station (not that the trains bothered us in the least). The room was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Very comfortable bed. Many thanks.

The room size was large and the bed was comfortable, new and clean, the owner and his wife could not do enough for us, we wanted to stay longer but our schedule did not allow us to.. A beautiful beach is just a 2 minute walk and also the restaurants.

The train track is very close to the accomodation but this suited us as we had to get the train to Colombo.

Brand new, spacous, super clean rooms. Rich and tasty breakfast. Very nice host. Walk across the railroad and you are at the beach.

Great location close to the beach. Very clean room with a nice balcony. A small fridge, bottled water, kettle and tea provided. Grocery store, restaurants and a good coffee shop near by. Very friendly host. The property is right by the train tracks but the occasional noise didn’t seem to bother us much.

Breakfast was good quality and very large. Perhaps too large. Sisi’s place is newly renovated to a good standard. Rooms are large and our room had sea views which was a bonus Really close to the train station literally walk out the back door and you’re on the platform. Easy to get to Colombo or Galle. The noise from the trains didn’t interfere with our stay. Very close to the beach probably less than a 2 minute walk.The beach at Bentota is Beautiful, very clean and unspoilt. There are other hotels around but no high rise buildings to detract from the view.

A great place to base yourself to explore Sri Lanka.Sisi and his wife will go out of their way to assist. I wish we could have stayed longer with this very warm and beautiful couple.
