La température de la piscine comme partout , trop froide 😥 dommage...

Sehr schöne Anlage, gepflegt. Haus ist gut ausgestattet, kleine Küche mit allem was man braucht. Pflegeartikel wie Shampoo, Conditionier und Duschgel werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Tägliche Zimmerreinigung und Handtuchwechsel. Pool sehr schön, waren alleine.

Duschstrahl schwach und schwierig die Temperatur einzustellen

Lekker rustig, villa en zwembad hadden we voor onszelf. Volgens de kinderen stonk het zwembad alleen.

Wifi werkte in de tweede slaapkamer goed mee om te gaan slapen 😉

This place is like paradise. The accommodation is located in the middle of a beautiful botanical garden with a fantastic pool. The apartments are sufficiently equipped, and the daily service is excellent. The owner is very helpful and even gave us a better apartment than we booked. The facilities are also great – pool, game room, sun loungers, air conditioning, etc. The location is also excellent, ideal for excursions around Yucatán, as it's close to the Riviera Maya, cenotes, and archaeological sites. There are two great restaurants just a few steps from the accommodation. We stayed here for nine days and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommended!

Good, remote location in beautiful garden full of tropical trees and plants. A lot of birds. Comfortable, clean apartments. Nice facilities in the object (pool, ping pong table, air hockey). Host was very helpful.

Lack of electric kettle in the room. Unpleasant smell from the sink drain (present on one day during our stay, maybe related to heavy raining) Lack of cellphone coverage (but WiFi works well) Outdated information about restaurants in the rooms (most of them are closed)

This place is awesome! The owner Jorge and his staff were very helpful and friendly and Aldea-Jo-Yah is an oasis of tranquility. The premise is totally secluded and very safe, the villas are very private and fully equipped. Room service every day, the beds were super comfortable, the surroundings were marvelous (very beautiful garden and pool) and the game room with kicker, air hockey, basketball game, ping-pong table is a great asset if you have kids or teenagers. You do need a car to get around but there is sufficient parking inside the walled garden. We stayed for a week and this was truly a perfect base to discover the area (beaches around Tulum, Sian Ka'an bio reserve, the awesome modern art museum Azulik, the small villages in the neighbourhood ...). Don't be fooled by the pictures: in reality, Aldea Jo-Yah looks even better ;-)

This place is an incredibly amazing oasis of lush vegetation and quiet relaxation filled with birds and butterflies, and the pool has a waterfall! (Ask them to turn it on for you.) If you’re looking for privacy, tranquility, and to escape the hustle and bustle of nearby Tulum while being near the beaches, this is the place for you. It’s excellent in every respect, I would basically live here forever if I could. The bed was super comfortable, the staff is amazing at retreating into the background, but being super attentive if you ask for anything, and every detail has been thought of. Aside from a couple of folks my first day, I had at least three days where I got to have the whole place to myself, which made me feel like a king. It’s basically every tropical paradise fantasy you have. It’s also somewhat removed from the road and from the town, so you don’t get the usual Mexican street noise, blaring music, barking dogs etc. Mostly I got to wake up to birds every morning, and soak in the peace and serenity of the space.

My only regret is that it ruined me for every other place I went, which just couldn’t compete with the amazingness of this place. Also that the beach feels more like 30 minutes away than 20—next time I’ll just stay at the hotel, though, and not even try to bother with the beach. For me it was that good.
