Great service, excellent food in bar

Only stayed for one night so didn't get to try any of the services but staff were very welcoming and the room was excellent. Very large room with sofa, TV etc, and included your own kitchen. You could access round the back via a secure pin-coded gate and very quiet and comfortable too. I'm very fussy but was really surprised and would really recommend.

Only problem was no parking unless there was a space outside or in a nearby local road.

The room was spacious clean and well equipped for a self catering alternative as breakfast was not an option. The option of a late checkout as standard. The location was central to town, and an evening meal could have been booked in the adjacent pub if required.

No parking facilities, and limited space on local roads.

Stayed here before and loved it then and loved it the second time. It is our go to place when we have a lot of family over to stay. The accommodation is immaculate. The pub and restaurant is fantastic.

Nothing not to like

Very clean and lots of space. Lovely little touches in the room saying they had a friendly cat and its name. Tea coffee and hot chocolate, milk and orange juice.

Just parking was hard to find in the dark, but we easily found parking behind the pub

We thought the room was really clean and with plenty of space. We particularly liked the kitchenette and seating area being away from the bed.

The bath had a shower screen which was fixed. The taps were at the end of the bath and you couldn't reach them without going into the bath itself. The bath didn't have handles so was difficult to get out. The kitchenette didn't have any cloths to clean down the sink or work surface. The bins didn't have liners.

Gorgeous room, well appointed with everything you could need. Loads of space. Nice touches and attention to detail such as milk and orange juice left in the fridge along with a selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Everything was clean and fresh. Very comfy bed and bedding. Lovely shower and bathroom. Highly recommend.

No parking at the pub but we managed to find some behind so not a big deal. Only one cookie provided in a room for two! It was big though so we shared it.
