Cottage was beautiful, ideal location and had everything we needed. Was a real home from home

This is the perfect country cottage escape. Everything was marvelous. Vanessa looked after us so well and check in and out was smooth. The king size was the best bed so far on our European trip. The little terrace garden was a gift- it looks into Blenheim Palace grounds and the Green Gate is two minute stroll away. A well equipped kitchen and one and a half bathrooms were a bonus. A short walk into town for great restaurants. Highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It couldn't have been better!

Pretty cottage backing on to Blenheim Palace grounds. Lovely views of the lake when looking over the stone fence at the back. Parking for our hire car. Very comfortable large beds with good linen and large absorbent towels. Strong water pressure in shower. Downstairs toilet (as well as one in the bathroom upstairs). Well equipped kitchen with enough pots and pans and cooking accessories. Excellent gas stovetop (which I prefer to electric) and good oven. Comfortable sofa. Nice outside terrace area.

Shower head kept moving around and falling down while showering. There is no dishwasher so need to rely heavily on tea towels. The ones supplies were not absorbent. Sink stainless steel draining area doesn’t drain into the sink fully leaving small pools of water on it. Would be hard to fix so at least a draining rack to put dishing and cutlery on so dishes are not sitting in water. For such an expensive place I’d expect cooking oil, bin liners, more paper towels and foil to be supplied as we have with other properties. This may not be an issue for those eating out every night.

Amazing location. Beautifully clean and comfortable.

Everything was clean and tidy and comfortable. Parking was convenient. Lovely to look out over the lake in the evenings.
