De Hué

We had a great stay at De Hué Space! The architecture of the homestay is really impressive, harmoniously combining modern and traditional elements, creating a delicate and cozy space. The service was also excellent – the host was extremely attentive, not only preparing a delicious breakfast, but also snacks in the evening, which made it feel extremely friendly and close. A big plus is that the homestay has free bikes to explore the city, accompanied by helpful suggestions from the host about interesting attractions and activities in Hue.

However, the location of the homestay is a bit far from the center, it takes about 10 minutes by motorbike to reach the main area of the city. This may be a small minus for those who want to be right in the center, but in return, the quiet and comfortable space of the homestay is a big plus. Overall, this is an ideal choice for those looking for a warm and memorable stay in Hue.

This was the best stay of our trip across five Vietnamese cities. Beautiful design, custom local furniture, and a warm, welcoming host made it feel like home. Clearer service info on booking sites would help

If there’s one thing to improve, it would be clearer information about services and amenities on booking platforms to help guests plan better.

The architecture of the place is beautiful and the host was beyond friendly and helpful. We loved as well the Vietnamese breakfast served each morning, and the coffee they prepared was great too. It was very peaceful and looking at the garden from the bedroom was a great view to wake up to.

It’s not necessarily a bad thing, and we knew about this, but it is far away from the city center (15 min with motorbike) and sometimes taxis are hard to find. If you have nice weather and drive a motorbike it’s no problem but we had rainy days so it’s was a bit of a problem. The host anyways was super helpful in trying to find taxis for us :)

Location. We found it difficult to get Grab transport especially later at night.

We have stayed 1 night during our trip to Hue. The room and the whole object was very clean; with nice design of interior. You are even asked to take of your shoes before entering the building :-) Breakfast was great - we were asked what we want the evening before. We had noodles and they were very good; also served with some fruits, tea and coffee. Staff is extremely friendly, we got very nice and "modern" (website with description + google maps) recommendartions what to eat in Hue - which we have used and were very positively surprised (as it was something different).

Like almost everywhere - there are sounds from the street in the room (of scooters / cars passing by). It takes around 10 minutes to get to the Hue Center, but it is still convenient.

The accommodation was super comfortable, unique, spacious and full of local charm. The owner and staff are also super warm, helpful and accommodating. The only downside was that we only booked 2 nights there. I will have to come back and stay for longer next time

As its name, De Húe is a miniature Hue city offering me a feeling of calm and serenity when I just arrived. I love every decorative detail of the homestay and also love how the staff were so welcoming and supportive to me.

I wouldn't recommend staying during the national holidays as you may experience the worst noise from the neighbors singing karaoke until 10 PM.

A beautiful space with great attention to detail, truly an architectural gem that beautifully reflects local craftsmanship. The host is fantastic, always ready to assist guests, offers plenty of helpful tips and recommendations, and engages in lovely conversations. The food is fresh and delicious, a definite recommendation!
