Staff were not very welcoming, very small room, not very sound proof, no directions to the car park which was accessed in a very different location!

Comfortable bed and good location

The room was very basic (pet friendly room off the carpark) and overpriced. No heating or towel rail in bathroom so difficult to dry towels and generally freezing. No hooks anywhere and only one hanger in wardrobe. Poor sound proofing between adjoining rooms, electric heater unreliable and no instructions. The curtains were ill fitted and thin so very bright in the morning and there was no information about available wifi or indeed anything about breakfast, pub facilities or the area in general. The room is definitely not setup for longer stays or cold weather. Very disappointed.

The location. I booked this room for my 94 year old father and he has dictated the answers below.

Had to wait for a long time for attention on checking in. The electric power cord for the shower was not obvious and no-one had explained how it worked. As it was Christmas Day the following morning, there was no-one to ask. The room was very cramped with nowhere to hang clothes. At £165 a night, it was overpriced, cashing in on Christmas. The noise from the large number pub customers outside was very loud in the room on the first night of the stay. The room is very close to the outside bar.
