The Old Shop

Situated at the most instagrammable place at Portree. Easy to find and locate the property and getting in was easy with contactless, self check-in. Clean and cozy place to stay.

I loved the location. It was very easy to check-in. Rooms were very spacious.

It was extremely cold in the rooms. We used all the heaters in the room but even then it was cold. I would suggest better heating equipments. Especially since the room is sea facing.

The location is great, amazing views. Audrey is really nice and always tries to help. The room has everything you may need. There are extra heaters for winter.

At our arrival, the room temp was 10°C, which is really cold and unpleasant, especially in a winter night. It took up to 5h to start warming up. It would've made a difference if someone had made sure the room had a nice comfortable temperature. First impressions are important. The heating system requires patience.

Loved the location. Room was clean

The location was exceptional, we were in the iconic pink hotel along the harbor. Step out your door and you’re right on the wharf in the middle of everything. The restaurant next door, Sea Breezes, was amazingly yummy. Beds were very comfortable.

The parking can be challenging on that street. There’s a bit of mold in the bathroom along the wall next to the shower, which is noticeable once you use the shower.
