We loved York but not the apartment

The apartment is situated in Central York. Unfortunately it was very noisy and we stayed on Monday. I can imagine how loud is on weekends. The apartment is nice apart that it was not airin the apartment, as out of 4 windows 3 of them weren't able to open as it was a written note stuck on the window saying we are not allowed to open them. It was very suffocating. When I asked the host to open the window I was advised to use a ventilator. I didn't want to as I needed fresh air. The apartment stank of old dirty carpet. Bed was very uncomfortable and mattress was dated, pillows were uncomfortable also. The property was extremely clean and tidy. It was also well equipped, very comfortable, well lit and in an extremely great location for everything within the city.

There was absolutely nothing that I didn’t like about this property.
