GBIts location in relation to the pubs and shop. We had stayed here the previous year and some of the issues we found this year were unresolved from last year.
- [x] Regarding room 5: The shower tray overflowed resulting in a dangerously slippery floor. The bottom of the bathroom doorframe was rotten causing the room to have an unpleasant odour. The room was very humid and the bathroom extractor did not work. Upon arrival the room had a smell of cigarettes and we were advised that the rooms were non smoking. When we were packing away on our final day, we found a Milkshake container with cigarette butts extinguished in the bottom of it. This would have been left by a previous occupant and missed by the cleaner (it was hidden in the bottom drawer of the cabinet). The room had spillages and stains on the walls. The lights failed on our final day which prevented us being able to use the shower. I messaged the manager three times regarding this and did not receive a reply. If I ever get a response I’ll be asking for a refund!

GBGreat location close to the sea front. Entry is done by keycode and a key in a key box outside your room. This is absolutely fine, although the instructions were not on the Booking.com confirmation, so I had to contact the property. The details were sent immediately.
