"Excellent location, cockroach in bathroom"

This is 5 minutes' walk from the famous Meenakshi temple. You can't take phones or cameras into the temple so it's easy to leave them in your room and pop back to get them and use your own toilet or leave luggage here even if you don't actually sleep here. I booked this hostel for that purpose and didn't sleep here.

A 2cm cockroach in the bathroom and some 2-3mm beetles on the bed which I think were baby cockroaches. The bedsheet was stained and uninviting. The plug sockets looked very old. Reception staff were nice but didn't speak English.

"Parking is too long from hotel and need to pay for car parking"

"Dormitory is not so good."

Breakfast.

Dormitory room was not clean. There were lots of mosquitoes in the room. I couldn't sleep for half night.
