the apartment is exactly like in the pictures. it has an excentric vibe! there is a nice view from the balcony. as the house is located in the higher part of the village expect ~8min of drive uphill to get there. there is a free parking area 50m away

the vibe was killed by the host approach and demanding tone of communication. we got a feeling they are trying to make money on everything - there is no mokka for DIY coffee (quite basic thing in Italy!), but there is a coffee machine with pods, paid 1eur each... there's a full fridge of beverages, wines, and snacks. with a pricelist of course. there's was room for our own groceries in the fridge. The AC or heating is paid extra, luckily, we didn't need that. For checkout, we received a demand to clean everything and leave it neatly—it's nice to do your dishes before the checkout, which we always do, but the tone of the request seemed rude, especially since the fee includes a 45EUR cleaning fee! Even the soap - there was just enough to do the dishes for 3 nights, not a single drop more.

The scenery is very beautiful. If you are looking to stay in an authentic town house with the hustle and bustle of neighbours coming and going, this is ideal for you. Everyone talks to each other and it has a nice community feel. The house has lots of character and charm. The shower was lovely and hot. Free complementary soap, shampoo and lotion. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. We paid for the pizza from the owner on the first night, one big pizza spilt in half with apple cake and limencillo for after. 17E each seems a bit steep when a whole pizza costs about 12E right next to the lake in the town. But it was nice not having to cook or find somewhere to eat on the first night.

The sound inside the building isn’t very well insulated as we could hear the neighbour below watching tv and whistling a lot. I would suggest the owners upgrade the sound proofing. I would also suggest making the spiral staircase more secure as it didn’t feel particularly steady. I was disappointed that what looked to be complimentary wine set up on the table with two wine glasses on our arrival was not complimentary and all drinks including coffee had to be paid for, plus tourist tax. Given a bottle of nice wine costs about £4, why not gift it as a welcome gift? It would have been a nice gesture. Maybe something for the future.

La localisation qui surplombe le lac de Côme, la proximité avec des chemins de randonnée, la rusticité du bâtiment, la vue de l’appartement est exceptionnelle, accueil chaleureux des propriétaires.

The location was not as described. The owner stated it is a 20-minute walk to the city center, but in reality it takes about 35 minutes, exactly as shown on Google Maps. Also, for a 3-night stay we received only 10 ml of soap per person, which was far from sufficient.

L'emplacement est vraiment formidable. Le must!! La vue sur le lac, balcon où on peut manger et voir se coucher le soleil, tellement beau. Tout au calme. Le parking est facile. On est dans un cul de sac donc tranquille. On peut descendre à pied en ville (1,2km) le chemin est plaisant tout en calade mais attention il faut être motivé, pour le retour ça grimpe🥴. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et nous avons eu des informations claires jusqu' au moment d'arriver. Le logement est très spacieux. Embarcadère pour les bateaux qui relient tous les villages dans la ville parking facile (payant nous avons payé 15€ pour 12h)
