Casa al Vico

Good location.

Unfortunately there were several issues we had with the property. The musty smell hit you as soon as you opened the door, the downstairs bathroom was unusable due to the overpowering smell, food from previous occupants was left in the uncleaned refrigerator, the dish sponge was old and used, the floor was filthy, I had to clean the bathroom mirror and sink area with a cloth I found, hair in the shower, dirty bathroom walls, and broken almost empty bottles of toiletries. Additionally, the listing stated 2 beds, one being the queen upstairs and one being a sofa bed. No sheets were to be found for the sofa bed and when I inquired I was told you are 2 people sofa bed is for 3. I booked a 2 bed property, that was a ridiculous response. On our last night we were able to use the sofa bed that they made up that morning. I paid a cleaning fee but was rented an unclean property and feel I should be compensated with a refund of said cleaning fee and an adjustment for the availability of only 1 bed.

Good location to all the sights in Taormina, but also slightly away from all the noise. The apartment was a great space for two people, appreciated the coffee machine and kitchen facilities to make our own breakfast/dinner when we wanted. Throughly enjoyed our stay here!

No real complaints, other then on the day we were leaving the owner or a cleaner arrived before the checkout time with no warning. Wasn’t a big issue for us as we did happen to be leaving at the same time, but it was unexpected and unexplained.

Great owner and great house

Everything was perfect! Great location close to the city, but still very quiet area. Nice apartment with good facilities. We had lovely time here! Would definitely stay here again - high recommendations! The host is very friendly and welcoming. Thank you!

Well equipped and comfortable

Iron didn’t work

Spacious accommodation in the heart of Taormina. It’s in the centre and yet in a quiet area. Very comfortable house and very nicely done.

Nothing, actually. Everything is great.

The host replied quickly. And even brought me a pesticide for mosquitoes. The hair dryer worked really well and I could use the coffee machine. Especially the bathrooms were replaced on each floor, so it was really convenient. I loved this neat house. Also, if you have heavy luggage, plz follow the video from the host. I followed the Google maps, which showed me a tough uphill.

The house had less sunlight than I expected. But wasn't a big deal for two nights.

Everything about this stay was exceptional. The host was very thorough and prompt in his communications. The unit itself was lovely. It's on two levels which allowed the three of us some nice privacy. It was well equipped with everything we needed. It's in a very quiet location. Everything worked as it should. The outlets with USB ports was a really nice touch that we've not seen in any of our other booking.com stays. Absolutely recommend without reservation and would certainly stay again.
