Madid's Inn Beach Resort

It was really close to the beach and accessible to all amenities.

Minor but annoyingly they didn't provide any closet and we only discovered prior to leaving there was a hanging rack in another unoccupied room. Major - the manager decided to have his staff paint outside our room on the ground floor at 11:30pm. The fumes were so bad and woke us up so we went to complain and they stopped, but the damage was already done. We were unable to sleep as the fumes were suffocating us inside our room and the ventilation was affected badly, so we went to the beach at around 1 am. After a while, we returned to the shop owned by the inn where they had painted, but one of the staff members wasn't very accomodating when we asked to speak to the owner. Although she appeared to have spoken to him herself, she wouldn't provide us another vacant room which was at least away from the fumes. We said we would get the police if they still refused to help us and gladly found some policemen patrolling around the beach. Fortunately they were very helpful and thanks to them the manager decided to come and speak to us. The police even agreed that they shouldn't have been painting in the middle of the night when there were people staying in the room next door. The manager refused to provide us another room and only offered an air humidifer and a spray that contains laundry softener. One of the policemen stayed until this was resolved and we tried to sleep again around 3 am after leaving the humidifier on for a while. Prior to our departure, the manager didn't even show up and we were unable to get any kind of discount on our last night in the property.
