Fort William - Highland holiday home

Beautiful house, clean and well located. Cleaning supplies, towels and bedding and other bits were very welcome. View of the mountains from living room, absolute heaven.

Mainly the lack of hot water. The hot water in kitchen, bathroom basin and bath do not produce hot water, it gets just above stone cold. Thankfully the shower works fine. On a minor note, putting a regular toilet seat on a square shaped toilet means that every single time you sit on it the seat moves, annoying at the best of times but especially at night when the “clunk” wakes everybody up.

Premises was comfortable

There was a continuous noise of water pumping the whole night

The location was good with easy access to buses for going into the town centre. The rooms were spacious and a nice layout. Parking was easy and close to the property.

The heating and hot water system was quirky and noisy at night. The staircase was steep and would benefit from a handrail particularly near the top of the staircase.

Good size rooms and efficient heating.

Lacked love, main rubbish bin was full and out the front of the property, required to strip beds on departure, old kitchen stove.
