The property had a lovely opulent feel about it.

The steps to the flat were steep but obviously part of the charm of an apartment in the old town.

Location. Strong ac. Great shower. Very clean. Lots of space. Great communication.

I gave a good rating because mostly the things I didn’t like were there to be discovered with a better exploration of the listing. The 2 main things: there is no balcony, the one window to outside is floor to ceiling with a railing; the bedroom has no window to the outside, just a window to the stairwell that is an un-cooled (hot) common area.

Everything! Especially the terrace and the location. Here, you are just 2 min away from the most famous Monopoli beach (although our favorite was 10 min walking away, just keep walking along the coast and you will find many calas and portos) AND right in the historic centre where there are lots of restaurants and bars. Diana (the host) was so Nice and accommodating when we had to check in very late because of flight delays, and even let us leave our bags a couple hours after checking out.

We liked Everything! Just know that there are 2-3 flights of steep stairs and that the room (”Bell tower”) is very small. It has everything you need, but let’s just say it is efficient with the area. (The bathroom doesn’t have a normal door, for example.)

We loved the roof terrace and fabulous location. The nearby beach is only 2 minutes walk for a morning swim and there are so many great restaurants to choose from - but you are also in a calm environment for a great night sleep without noise.

Everything ! Diana, the owner was amazing ! The place was so big and nice to stay in as well and there is a rooftop view as well ! Definitely one of our best stays in Puglia. Also incredible location in the old town, close to everything. We travelled by train and it was only 15 min max by foot.

Location is right in the centre of Monopoli with lots of beaches within short walking distance. Amazing view from the rooftop and very friendly host.
