Charming 1BR just off Main Street prime location

The décor was spot on. The place is small but really quaint, and it had everything it needed. My only gripe wasn’t even their fault — I’d sprained my ankle the week before, and the lane was called Crutches Hill. Felt like the universe was having a little joke at my expense. Other than that, it was perfect and I’d happily recommend staying here. One small note: the plug socket in the bedroom behind the drawers is a bit temperamental. I figured it out and had no real issues, just something to be aware of. Overall, it’s in a great central location and ideal for most people. I wouldn’t recommend it if you use a wheelchair or have severe mobility issues, but for everyone else it’s a brilliant stay.

The Hill getting up, but that’s only because I had crutches at the time and those crutches were not in place when we made the booking.

The heater was very weak. If I had my wife with me this rating would not be so high.

Location in centre of town was perfect but was up a very very steep ramp and steps so difficult for partner who has to walk with a stick while waiting for hip replacement. Apartment was spotless and comfotable

Great location and it was a comfortable apartment for a couple of nights. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this place to others.

The aircon in the apartment is a table top unit meaning it is very loud and doesn’t do a great job of cooling the place down. The ventilation for the aircon is via the window meaning that the window is open constantly. If you are a light sleeper you might struggle to sleep while the aircon is on. The other main criticism was that the kitchen was not well stocked or very clean. There was old food stuck to the chopping board and cutlery, and some of the knives were blunt. We cleaned them before our use but it didn’t look like they were well maintained. I noted that some of the other reviews for this property criticised the curtains in the bedroom, while these are light, they didn’t bother us. However if you’re a light sleeper you may struggle to have a sleep in with the curtains. Overall, it was a nice stay and reasonable for the price.

Very easy to enter property (just as long as you can remember the code as no keys). Great location, very clean with all facilities for cooking. Comfortable bed and very clean.

There was only a portable air conditioning unit so you would have to move it into the bedroom as it wasn't sufficient enough to cool the whole area. No problem, although it was noisy you soon but used to it and can sleep well as it cooled the bedroom down.
