Charming 1BR just off Main Street prime location

Location is good. The property is clean and spacious and the welcome pack with tea bags long life milk etc was a nice touch.

The property had been flooded and the bedroom smelt and felt damp. The curtains are white and translucent there is a street light directly above the French windows in the bedroom so the bedroom was illuminated throughput the night. The TV has no freeview and no channels the only app that worked was Amazon TV.

We arrived to find the road outside the apartment in the middle of being ripped up. There were signs around showing that this work had been going on for some time before our arrival. It turns out it was overnight work, with heavy machinery outside our window until the early hours of every morning. The property managers claimed to not know about it in advance, but that is just not possible. As I say the work had already started by the time we got there, so if they had come to check the apartment ahead of our stay they would have seen it, but it was also well signposted, and a quick online search even shows that it was specifically mentioned in a budget speech by the minister for transport. So either they lied to me that they weren't aware of the roadworks, or they are unbelievably negligent. If we had been made aware of the roadworks we would have made other arrangements.

Smoke alarm needed new battery, peeping sound all day and night. It was on a high ceiling so couldn’t stop it.

The location was close to shops and entertainment.

A few small maintenance issues need to be addressed. The smoke alarm randomly squealed suggesting the battery needs to be replaced The light/fan unit over the stove did not work and the cooking pans need to be replaced.

Location is excellent, very accessible to town center, not far from airport, room is tidy, clean and modern, has appliances that you can use such as fridge, microwave, washing machine, telly, the only concern we have is my sister could not connect to their WiFi otherwise overall experience was exceptional. Totally recommend! Also, forgot to mention, we left our luggage to their office while waiting for our flight, staff were nice and accommodating.

Very nice comfortable apartment, well located close to main street. We enjoyed the one bedroom apartment. Was very clean, had all utensils we needed to make a good breakfast.

The bedroom' curtains should provide more darkness to the room. The light outside of the apartment was coming throughout the bedroom with the current light curtains.

Location was great,

Sofa is stained, the hairdryer not working resulting in a few dodgy hair days, I've never had to move a microwave accross the room in order to be able to use it before as there were no other sockets, the street light is right outside the bedroom window and the curtains very flimsy so do not block out the light.
