The Streamline Hotel - Daytona Beach

I had the best weekend staying at this hotel. This is a perfect spot for a nice getaway. The locations of the hotel made it convenient for my friends & I to walk to the beach and the restaurants nearby. The workers were very kind & welcoming. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The rooftop bar was breathtaking, the views from above is spectacular. Overall I would stay at this hotel again.

Location, history of the building, design of the exterior.

Thin walls, musty smell in the hallway, both lounge and restaurant were closed during our visit.

Property was close to Ocean Deck bar which was really fun and I got a good deal by booking earlier for Daytona 500 weekend.

The hotel is in need of a renovation. My TV controller didn’t work. The shower in my friend’s room didn’t work.

Bed are comfy close proximity to a lot of things beach restaurants bars.

Terribly dirt and the staff is unfriendly and not willing to assist. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all. Dust on everything and it is really run down. I get that’s it’s old but the furniture was in terrible shape and that can be upgraded.

I like that it is close to everything

The water gets cold super fast almost luke-warm always.

They cancelled our booking the day before arrival even though we made our reservation months in advance. They offered us a room at a sister hotel that was booking for $50 a night less than the one we paid for but wouldn’t offer a discount to stay at the smaller place with fewer amenities and bad reviews. We declined and booking.com promptly refunded us but the hotel itself should have notified us long before that. It was due to renovations and they had to know about their plans more than one day before our stay. Shame on them for trying to bait and switch us to their other rooms and expecting us to pay full price. We won’t use their hotels again know their tactics
