The view on the sea is the biggest asset

Bathroom is private but in the corridor and it is rather basic and small

Very nice place, we had a room in a shared apartment; it was clearly indicated during the booking process. Fantastic view, very good communication with the owner.

Alfonso is the best host you could ever ask for. He looks after us extremely well. His place is a 20- minute from the train station. We got lost when we were looking for his property as google sent us to a different location which is farther from the actual accomodation. I suggest to type in VIP sul mare instead of tapping on “get direction”. However Alfonso came to the rescue and personaly accompanied us to the property. The accomodation is superb. We stayed in Vesuvio which is the room directly in front of the sea. Sitting in the balcony just listening to the waves and watching the time goes by is so therapeutic. I felt that I could just stay in the accomodation all day which we did on our last day to savour the view and enjoy the beauty of the vista. The mattress is so comfortable. We had a very good night sleep. The room has a functional small fridge. Alfonso prepared a pack of milk, a bottle of juice, biscuits and croissants for us when we arrived which we greatly appreciated. The building has a lift which really was a bonus especially with our heavy suitcases. The kitchen is fully functional. Although we have to share it with other guests who arrived before us, we still manage to use the facility when required. We only stayed for 2 days which I am gutted. I wish I found this place earlier. I even love this place than the place we we stayed in Naples. Would definitely come back!

Squeky bed even with little movememt, but didnt deter us to enjoy our stay.

Alfonso was the perfect host! Very attentive and accommodating, especially our little baby. We have traveled to over 30 countries and can safely say that this place stands out among the best. Looking forward to the next chance we get to stay in Castellamare.

Beautiful views and a wonderful host. We strolled along the seashore, enjoyed sunsets from our patio and dined in local restaurants. Great place to stay to visit Pompeii. It is a 1.50 Euro, 10 minute ride on the local train. Highly recommend!
