The uncomfortable bed
NZNZI really liked the size of the room and to observe the locals playing 'meat lottery' while having fun and drinking beer. Really nice to experience this in a local south island town! Thank you
NZI liked... the pub and its atmosphere/vibe. although the pub closed a little early, it seems a pretty cruisy and fun pub. the staff were hardworking and pleasant.
the bed, the bathroom, the carpet, the food was a little weird, but okay.

Very outdated room had that old smell wallpaper in bathroom peeling off and shower head only around 5 feet off the floor
NZHad dinner only which was very nice as was the service.
We stayed in a pub room which had all the potential in the world but was sadly lacking in presentation & facilities. The room reserved for us was also facing the main road which was very noisy. Somebody needs to spend some money and upgrade !
