The Royal Sands Koh Rong

The location is very nice. Beautiful beach, villas are spacious. Staff is extremely friendly

The sun beds are old and feel a bit cheap and the parasols are blackened by mould possibly.. Tables on the terrace of villas would be a plus. The food is very average

The most beautiful sand beach with clear water we have ever stayed at. Nicely appointed room (however we moved from 220 which was poor (overlooked by restaurant, loud refrigeration noise if sitting outside, no view of sea on outside seating) to 209 which was good - so there is some inconsistency.) Room lay-out also very nice. We had a lovely host called Sela which was very attentive if we needed anything. Overall staff all lovely and attentive. Food overall excellent - great choice at Breakfast and everything we had at the restaurants was also good with generous portion sizes. It was perfect for a holiday where you want to do nothing but laze by the beach.

Couple of details that were disappointing for a 5 star hotel charging £450+ per night including: - Rotting wood flooring in outside shower - having read other reviews this is an issue across the estate. - Arriving back at our room on the first night to two random men sitting on the floor in our bathroom repairing a blind - we had not been made aware of this! - Cheap sun loungers along the beach - no cushions and metal frame which became very hot to touch in the sunshine - Charge for basic activities (kayak, paddle board etc.) that we have always had for free at other 5 star hotels. - Inflexibility of boat transfer to and from the resort. Only runs twice a day and doesn’t take into account flight times etc. If you want to book out of hours it’s $880 one way!

Nogal afgelegen, er is niet veel te doen in de omgeving. Het transport is ook duur.

Spiaggia incredibile, tenuta pulitissima e con poche persone. Servizio eccezionale con standard elevati e cibo ottimo sempre. Lyka è tutto lo staff ci hanno sempre aiutati per ogni esigenza in maniera puntuale ed immediata. Ottima esperienza!

From the moment we arrived at the main port to take the ferry to the resort to the moment we left, all the staff of Royal Sands made us feel so welcome and well taken care of. Stunning white beach (I overheard a number of people say it was the most beautiful beach they’ve ever been to, and I have to agree), well appointed, quiet villas, wonderful food, and thoughtful activities to enjoy along with little touches throughout that made it feel super special. Wish we could have stayed longer!! It would have been the perfect place for a honeymoon.

very comfortable well appointed room, fun evening happy hour, and the restaurant was amazing both dinner and breakfast! beautiful beach kept very clean compared to the rest of the island.

it would be nice if transportation to and from town was included, the price they are charging is a bit unreasonable for the short drive.

Удивительное море, белый чистый песок, прозрачная вода, идеальная температура. Вилла комфортная, чисто. Вкусная еда, отличный спа, делали кхмерский и дип тишью массажи у трех девушек, все делали отлично. Персонал был очень дружелюбный, Heng был очень полезен. Мы брали трансферт от отеля из Аэропорта до Сиануквилля. Машина отличная (кондиционер, вода, WiFi)

Очень важно учитывать время прилета в Камбоджу. Позднее 18.00 уйти на остров невозможно, закрывается порт. Планируйте прилеты с учетом того, что вам необходимо будет добраться до Сиануквилля. (От ПномПеня 2,5 часа на машине).
