Oxfordshire Living - The Sunderland Apartment - Bladon

It was very clean, well equipped and very quiet. Though it is on a main road we were not bothered by any traffic noise. It had off road parking at the back of the property. It was in a perfect location to visit Blenheim Palace and Churchills grave. Great pub very close by with good food.

Nothing to dislike.

A lovely ground floor flat with parking right outside. The entrance is located at the rear where the parking is so all in the same place. Was easy to find and very close to Blenheim Palace. Bed was very comfortable and the whole flat was very warm and toasty. You're able to regulate the temperature yourself instead of it being locked which was very handy after a long day at the palace and in the cold. Bathroom was a ok and the water was great. Hot water on demand and perfect after a long day out. Kitchen had everything you need including sugar which we forgot to bring ourselves so that was useful.

My sister and I were a little shocked by the towel warning in the welcome pack. It gave us a warning that towels can't have any stains on them as I assume other guests leave them unusable again. Of course, no stains were left but the notice did make us panic a little and we checked our towels after showering which we never do anywhere else. Next time I would bring my own. Toilet seat a little annoying as you need to use both hands, pushing the bottom part down when trying to open the lid...

Lovely apartment. Good location and easy parking. Very comfortable and nicely furshished. Comfy bed! Would happily have stayed longer.

The property was super clean and had everything we needed. Wifi was great, the bed was comfy, complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and toiletries were also a nice touch. Hot water and heating to hand. A really lovely apartment which was close to everything we needed!

Good location, easy to gain access, good parking.

The floors and carpets were a bit dirty. Felt it under foot, which is never nice. Also, 10am check out is a bit stingy. If it’s a 3pm check in, who really needs 5 hours to do a change over in a one bed flat? I am an early riser, but sometimes on a Sunday it’s nice to have little lay in and a slow start. 11am check out is standard and I feel 10am is a bit pushy.

the condition of the apartment is the same as the photo, the process of entering the apartment is easy and simple... everything you need is available, tea, coffee, milk... coffee machine... and cooking utensils are clean and beautiful, the apartment itself is bright, fresh and safe... there is free parking available. Venessa the host allowed us late checkout... so we could still put our things in the apartment while still walking around the Costwold villages. A friendly neighbor helped us tidy up the suitcase in the trunk of my car, because I was traveling with my daughter.. and I really like the comfortable bed, king size, and beautiful and big pillows. This place is very strategic if you bring a car when traveling. a beautiful quiet place much different from the big city atmosphere. I will come back to this apartment.

Excellent location for visiting this area. Convenient parking. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Very comfortable bed.

The property is on a very busy road. This didn’t spoil our stay though. The bathroom could do with a little attention. Stuff toilet seat, cracked tiles, flooring coming up, rusty radiator pipes. Wicker rug in lounge could do with replacing.
