Flor's House

The room quite comfortable in the level 0. Drinking water.and fresh fruit offered. The owners very nice.

The description and previous opinions are not right. The kitchen is on the first floor in the owner's house so it is quite complicated if you should boil your milk and go out, go around the house on the street with a pot in your hand. There is a garbage dumb around the house that..one day should be a nice garden. A lot of wild cats and dogs around. Very high bed. No chance to transform the room in 4 places. No space! The bathroom is very basic. No place to relax around.. only on the pavement in front of the room. And the owner asking us to put good opinion because she is starting her activity. The worst and the most expensive place we stayed in Galapagos. I don't reccomend it, I am sorry..

The owners were great, lovely people but you need to speak Spanish, so I missed out there. But they tried to give me as much information as was possible (esp via google) given my very limited Spanish. The bed was great, so was the shower. The wifi is really good.

The place looks half built and is a shock when first seeing. The view of the port would have been great but it was spoilt by a building site in front - in other words there was no view. The garden is like a junk yard and the terrace is a store room. The homestay is 10 minutes hard slog from the centre and there is very little surrounding the place to attract (walks, restaurants, bars - nada). Overall I think (given other alternatives in the area) the homestay was way over-priced.

The family is really nice and friendly. They give you lots of tips for what to do and you can use their kitchen. The room is also really comfortable and equiped with air conditioning.

The only problem for me was the price. When booking the accomodation, the app told me a different price than what I had to pay in the end. But I guess prices overall are high on San Cristobal.

Flor is an absolute angel and her daughter is also very kind and helpful! I was greeted with fresh fruit and water and a big hug from Flor. The room is very close to everything! It was clean and purified water was provided. The air conditioning was amazing because it was very hot! Excellent hospitality and a very cozy stay. I would recommend staying at Flor’s House to anyone going to San Cristobal! I hope to go back to visit! ❤️

A very comfortable stay. Spacious bedroom with an amazing bed! Flor and her family were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

One of the best places i have stayed at, it is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a local family vibe. Flor and the family were honestly great, definitely recommend for others

The house itself has an amazing view over the town out to the coast, it’s really beautiful. Flor and her family and some of the nicest people I’ve ever stayed with. They’re incredibly welcoming and lovely, it was a perfect homestay. There was free fruit and water in the room, and it was very clean.

Very kind strong, independent women run family business. Outstanding hospitality and extra treatment on my birthday to freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit bowl with a candle and home-made fresh fish salad. We were also given some special, tradicional drink on the Day of the Dead, too.The in-house beautician service is highly recommended, I opted for the full body massage with chocolate foiling. Safe area with lots of dogs and a cat.They even reached out to us after my friend left her hairbrush to try to re-unite us on the ferry.

Read the small prints carefully on the app as the price does not include, taxes and cleaning. Mornings can be a bit noisy from the street.
