One bedroom flat in Oban town centre

Convenient location a short walk from the bay , quietly tucked away, so no road noise . Apartment on the ground floor was in a quiet building , modern , nicely furnished with everything you could need for self catering . Was warm and cosy , heating worked well throughout .

Instructions on how to use the appliances would’ve been a plus , but managed to figure out everything.

The location and proximity to the venue is was attending. The place was clean and tidy. Everything i needed as a solo traveller was available.

The flat's proximity to the town centre, restaurants, shops etc is very good. The flat was spacious and reasonably well equipped.

The actual location of the flat is less desirable being on a "back row" ie behind the row of terraces on the front street and as a result is fairly sunless. As others have commented the multitude of smelly bins on the approach to the entranare off-putting. There was no hot water to the bathroom sink or the kitchen sink. As others have reported the sofa is uncomfortable to sit on - saggy. The bed is also less than perfect and the pillows are a disgrace, old and flat - horrible. The build in wardrobe (void in the wall) in the bedroom has aged plastic concertina "doors" which are falling off their runners. Certain areas could do with a lick of paint - scuff marks on the white walls (eg bathroom) The yale lock on the front door feels unsecure as the snib does not work. I would not stay in this flat again
