One bedroom flat in Oban town centre

Accommodation was clean & had everything you needed.. Location was superb. Close to all amenities & harbour. All in all a good experience.

Couch and bed a little uncomfortable but manageable.

Central location off a very busy Main Street.

No directions or information from the host. We were never told that the flat was in a back alley, well behind the street address. As a result, we spent far too long searching the area to find "7A." The TV did not work and, despite four different controls, did not seem to have a cable or streaming connection. There were no instructions as to how to start it.

The flat, once we found it was very central to centre of Oban. The kitchen was very well equipped although we did not use it as we were only staying for one night. The flat was clean and nicely decorated. The double bed was very comfortable and the bedding was fresh and clean.

The outside of the building is not the most attractive and we had to negotiate a multitude of wheelie bins (more than 15)that were all pushed together near the entrance. This wasn’t the fault of the hosts but it didn’t give the best initial impression. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, both as a sofa and as a bed. I’m sure this could be improved upon. The tap in the bathroom sink was very loose and requires a plumbers attention sooner rather than later. No immediate parking facilities although you could park on the main road which is free from 6pm to 9am.

Difficult to locate the unit as it was in a building behind a row of shops. Needs a much clearer description of how to locate.

Sofa bed had springs and wood and unable to sleep on it. Tipped up when tried to sleep on back edge. Floor boards broken by side of double bed so frightened you would put your foot through and fall. Also floor boards broken in hall. Basin tap not fixed and wobbly.

Location was fine.

The entire flat exuded an eerie, abandoned atmosphere that made it incredibly uncomfortable. The bed sheets were dusty and dirty. The Wi-Fi didn't work at all. In fact, we left immediately after seeing the deplorable condition of the place. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this accommodation.
