The Cider House at Stathe Farm

Spacious, clean and comfortable holiday home. Very well finished and maintained. Perfect for having a dog (downstairs) and with family. My kids and dog didn’t want to leave! Really large and immaculate downstairs living/kitchen/dining area with a great wood burner. Owner was very responsive and also very generous with topping up wood for the wood burner. Upstairs the rooms, beds and bathrooms were spacious and relaxing - great for catching up on much needed sleep. Great place to explore the Somerset levels and some cracking pubs to visit not too far away. It was very private and peaceful - great for getting not too far away from the buzz of London. We hope to be back!

A spacious, well equipped, spotlessly clean & comfortable cottage. Some thoughtful doggie bits & extras on arrival ~ milk, butter, eggs, jam & granola plus logs supplied throughout our stay for the brilliant log burner. A frosty week but the cottage was warm & cosy. Huge comfy bed. A relaxing stay in a beautiful area with lovely river walks. Thank you Sarah.

Lovely large, pretty property. Rooms are very spacious with comfy beds. We enjoyed the log fire and logs were topped up by the host. It was a great location for visiting the nearby Bridgewater Carnival. Hosts were friendly and my partner fell for their very friendly dog!

Always happy to leave a property tidy, however we were surprised we were asked to strip our beds on booking.com.

Loved how big the space is, like a tardis. Close to everywhere we wanted to visit whilst being peaceful

A beautiful house with quality furnishings, spacious bedrooms and living/kitchen area. Plenty of games and streaming service for tv available Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of wood to enjoy a cosy fire

Limited hot water . Wanted to take advantage of having a bath in a lovely bathroom,but after my husband had a shower there wasn't any hot water

Beds were big, comfortable and warm. The cider house was spacious. Stone walls were beautiful. The host Sarah was lovely and the communication was brilliant. Highly recommend and we look forward to staying here again.

The perfect getaway - we only stayed 2 nights but could easily see ourselves there for a week. Two spacious bedrooms (the kids managed to survive the same postcode for the duration!), and the bathroom and en-suite were excellent. Great kitchen, and nice to have a proper dining table. Sarah was a great host, and so was Dexter the dog. Everything was there, and everything worked.
