There were a lot of amenities provided like bathroom toiletries, lots of breakfast snacks, coffee, enough towels. Nice big powerful shower. Good WiFi, nice little balcony, very close shops, we always found somewhere to park within 2-3 minutes walk. Lovely big characteristic building and the room itself was very nice and big. Margherita was always quick to reply to messages/phone calls.

Although it didn't affect our stay and considering it is an old building, with what looks like many of the floors and rooms unoccupied, there was a smell from the bathroom, possibly due to the below rooms being unoccupied/not in use in the building. Margherita was very apologetic about this and told us she had tried everything to deal with this problem. We never complained about this but just informed her on check out. As we were always out, like I said it didn't bother us that much. We just closed the bathroom door when not in use.

the location is perfect and I can't help but mention the impeccable cleanliness of the place. We were very well received, I recommend it.

Mattress- hard as a rock; very uncomfortable. Although there is soundproofing this is not enough- cars heard all throughout the night

Casa di Rita has the best location! Just around the corner you are on the central meat and fish market and another few meters and you are at the Cathedral. The rooms are large and the bathtub is a nice feature :).

The entrance and stairwell is quite run down. You can consider this authentic, but it seems a little bleak. The rooms could do with a little more decorations as well, as there are no pictures on the walls, just bare white. Finally the breakfast is a little underwhelming.

The location is great - in the hearth of the city and close to everything. The building is majestic despite the entrance looking slightly abandoned. And it as very clean inside and the two rooms of the flat are great – with the high ceiling and the original for tiles. And of course the working bath tube in the bedroom .

It must be mentioned that the breakfast is just packed croissants from the shop, some jams and Nutella and a box of juice and something like milk in a box. You have coffees and teas to prepare if you want. For me this is not a breakfast at all. It can be called a complimentary snack instead but not to be promoted as a real breakfast which increases the price. Me and my family did not have it and preferred to sit and have a real croissants and capuchino in the nearest bakeries. The second thing is the heating. With these high ceilings the AC is absolutely not enough to make the place warm and comfortable. On arrival (in the beginning of February) the AC was not switched on in advance and it was really cold inside. The first room did not reach any reasonable temperature during our all stay and it was not OK for the third person who had to sleep on the extra bed there. Rita, please have this in mind for the winter months. And at least provide some extra blankets in the rooms for such cases. I will not mention again how difficult was the communication with a host who doesn’t know English at all. This was the reason that we gave up asking for any further assistance during our stay.
