Luxury on the lake

The view was amazing & we loved being right there on the water to be able to go fishing and enjoy nature. Clean & delightful couple that owns the house who make the perfect host. Will be back in the future when dow here again to see a concert.

We loved everything!

We stayed at this property last month and experienced a number of issues during our stay, ranging from the lack of cleanliness to the misleading nature of the listing. First, the layout of this accommodation and the lack of privacy was concerning. This property was advertised as a 2 bedroom apartment with a private entrance that was air-conditioned with soundproof walls. This was not the case at all, as this was an in-law apartment beneath the owner’s primary residence, with the second bedroom on the third floor of the property. Upon arrival, we were not shown the third floor that was advertised. We saw it the next day when we asked about where it was, and we didn’t know that we needed to walk through the owner’s personal living space in order to access it. There were also no locks on the doors, so the owners could access either area we were staying in at any given time. In fact, one morning, the host’s guest had entered our room while we were in bed, which was extremely uncomfortable. Next, it was clear that the apartment had not been cleaned at all. We found hair on the walls in both showers, a razor cap on the downstairs shower floor, used bars of soap in both showers, cobwebs in the kitchen cabinets, crumbs and residue on the counters and drying mat, a dead spider on the counter, hair on the pillowcases, and stains on the sheets. Additionally, several dishes/cups appeared unwashed, and I needed to rewash items before using them. There were also some missing basic amenities, including no trash can in the upstairs bathroom, no soap to wash hands with, and no bath mat outside the tub.

The downstairs bedroom was also very difficult to sleep in due to the lack of room darkening curtains, the inability to control the temperature, and the noticeable movement and thuds from upstairs throughout the night and early morning. Due to all of this, we were awake for most of the first night during our stay.

We love the area. We have stayed about 5 times. Good host. All necessities were given

Even though it was attached to the house it really felt like our own little place!!

Nothing! It was big and comfy and the owners were really cool!!! Will ABSOLUTELY be staying here again in the future!!
