Lovely little cottage that had everything we needed and was near to the places we wanted to go.

Parking was a bit awkward

"Great little place to stay"

10.0

I loved everything Definitely warm and cosy Didn't get there till quite late and as it was a cold night thought I'd have to wait for the heating to kick in but I didn't as it had thoughtfully been put on Lovely and warm as soon as I walked in Everything was there for a comfortable stay, even has some milk to make a cuppa which was much appreciated after delayed train Would use again Home from home

Didn't like the shower, found it hard to get in and out of the bath as the shower was over the bath. The sides of the bath were quite high. Shower functioned but not strong flow A little attention needed to the toilet handle as it's a little loose Toilet seat kept moving. Didn't detract from my stay but thought I'd mention it. Perhaps in hand already Still a great stay!

"Cosy weekend break"

Lovely cosy little cottage in a brilliant location by the canal. Ideal for walking into Hebden Bridge.

The parking was a little tight. Toilet seat and flush could do with some attention

The location was great in between Mytholmroyd and Hebden Bridge with a lovely Indian Restaurant a 10 minute walk away if that

From start to finish was just actual wow we decided to go to Hebden Bridge we were there for a few hours so did not get to property until 4pm check in is at 3pm we got in and my partner went upstairs to the toilet he said you want to see this upstairs I said what is it he said the towels are in the bath and the beds not been made (I enclose pictures) rang owner who was very apologetic but also quite arrogant she said you can either stay there while she cleans (no that would be awkward) or you can go out for an hour and come back when it’s done we did the latter but why should we?? It was your mistake after a phone call and a lot of cross words we decided to stay after she had rudely said what do you want to do then because if you don’t want to stay I can put it back on and somebody will snap it up tonight - anyway that aside when we got back in properly and had a look around the windows to the kitchen and bedroom were filthy full of cobwebs outside I understand that they are next to a canal but they don’t look like they have been cleaned for months, the settee was very very uncomfortable and so was the bed resulting in hardly any sleep for us both the bath looked dirty the toilet seat was loose the toilet paper was on the windowsill so you had to turn and reach from back as the toilet holder was broke (just replace it not a lot of money) the boiler was exposed on pipe work all in all this was one of the worst stays we have encountered it’s safe to say that we would love to stay in the location again but certainly not in the not so cosy cottage
