"Couples weekend away."

5.0

It was nice being next to the canal.

Could do with a refurbished. The bathroom is not great . Toilet wobbly seat . There are not enough toilet rolls. The shower is an experience. The kitchen didn't have enough bin bags. The table was wobbly. The rugs were dirty. There was no mop or hoover. It also smelt musty every time we went in .

9.0

A quirky historic cottage with personality - excellent location for walking to Hebden and good facilities in the village. Accommodation was rustic and suited us well - really good location for public transport as we came without a car. We really loved the proximity to the canal and tow- path for walks .

Could do with a few more kitchen utensils (cafetiere, scissors oven gloves tea pot etc) Boxing in the boiler would help with aesthetics.

"Damp smell not value for money"

4.0

The location was quiet

The cottage smells like damp, the bed was pulldown from the wardrobe not comfy at all the street light was right above the bedroom window so it wasn't dark, no water pressure so when you flushed toilet you could not wash your hands, no tv channels could only sign in to Netflix or prime everything slants down to the back of the property plus dirty utensils didn't stay the second night was not value for the money

"everything was great apart from the bed."

5.0

Cottage was very clean, well equipped and in an excellent location.

The bed was awful. The mattress was thin and dipped in the middle, it was little more than a camp bed. There is plenty of room in the bedroom for a decent bed. Even if you keep the pointless fold out arrangement you could at least have a decent mattress on it.
