Cosy cottage with a canal view

It was stunning, cosy, clean and super comfortable. The waking up in the morning to the view was amazing. I strongly recommend.

Great little find about a 25 minute walk from Hebden Bridge

No terrestrial Tv, and no parking. So you have to park on the main road. However these were fine and great internet and smart tv

Nice little cottage, clean and comfortable bed and quiet location. Nice canal walk behind the property. Nice having tea, coffee, olive oil and shower gels ect left from other guests to use

10am check out is way too early... had I seen that before booking I probably wouldn't have booked. Being away for the night...the one thing you want is a lie in and a slow morning. No TV channels

Nice location close to Hebden bridge and beautiful walks

Dated, unloved, basic , smelly needs some tlc and modernisation. Shower head poor and the vast majority of the time either hot water was not available or quickly ran out. Think the boiler is on the way out.

There was an initial problem with the boiler showing a fault code. I rang the contact telephone number twice which went straight to answer phone. I emailed the provided email address twice, that also showed undeliverable.

Location

No instructions for the boiler, so some difficulty getting hot water and heating to work. Parking was very tight in a very small courtyard so quite a bit of car moving required to accommodate the vehicles adjoining cottage.

The location was perfect, the actual cottage was lovely

Heating problem. Got sorted but should have been checked. Dust, mould and congealed coffee in coffee tin. Quilt and bedding very poor quality . Need bedside lights. No terrestrial TV, not very happy with that

breakfast I supplied myself. cleanliness of property, toilet, shower kitchen area very good. parking good in front property. on entry to property I had high hopes of a good week-end staying in the cottage

instructions for heating the property, nothing at all provided in the information file. lack of communication from Lynne, I rang twice on the land line provided on the Thursday evening, left 2 messages to call back which never happened, she denies this although my phone details can back me up. information prior booking ambiguous about TV, saying with streaming, not until you get to property is a note to say the TV does not have terrestrial channels, ONLY streaming. It should have read on the prior to booking info TV ONLY HAS STREAMING SERVICES. I have had several email messages with Lynne, rather curt almost blaming me for not contacting her by email. I do not use those facilities on my phone. I left the cottage approx 2pm on the Friday(6th), quite distraught, extremely disappointed about the experience. I am unable to put into words how the whole incident has affected me.

Very comfortable accommodation.
