Adorable 2 bedroom guest house

The guest house was warm, cosy and clean. Bread, milk and a couple of beers left in the fridge, we didn’t use them but it was a nice touch. Had a slight issue with the WiFi when we arrived but the hosts were very helpful.

Slightly dated in parts and a hairdryer would be helpful but these are only minor issues.

Booked for family - a couple. They had expected it to look like it was in the photos, but there was little comparison. They found it cosy but it was tired and stained in places. Whilst they had a good break they were disappointed that it did not reflect what was sold through Booking.com.

The photos do not reflect the inside of the property as it is now. Carpets were dirty, boxes piled floor to ceiling in a bedroom, the interior was not white and fresh, clean lines. It was stained, tired, dark; a bit odd. They felt like someone had just vacated it moments before they arrived. Photos misrepresent what is available, which was disappointing as this reservation was made as a Christmas gift!

We had a lovely stay with our little family. The hosts supplied a cot for our little one and everything was available. The location was lovely, master room with a view to remember.

Only two little negative is that some of the mugs/tea cups had stains in them. As well as few stains on the bedding. But that's me being picky.

Food and drink essentials supplied. Cute and cosy cottage. Toys and books to entertain the little ones.

Not a big deal but no microwave.

Cosy, pretty, good layout, small private outdoor space with great views. It didn’t feel like a short-term rental (in a good way!)

Nice simple breakfast offering, nice touch was a beer in the fridge on arrival which was welcome after a long journey 🙂
