La vista desde el restaurante.nos armaron una excursión gratuita en barco a un pequeño poblado que fue increíble.

FIAmazing lodge by the magnificent lake. All that beauty of nature, landscape and all going genuine Malawian life to get reached by stepping out of chalet’s door. We had also great adventure with boss Liam to the mountain nearby.
DEGreat, very kind and attentive staff, superb terrace with view across the lake, good food and comfortable huts on the lake; we specifically liked the relaxed and family-like atmosphere - we felt "being at home", thanks again to everybody!!

Their communication is not always the best so sometimes you wait way longer then they told. Food can sometimes takes a lot of time but that’s “normal” in Africa
NLThe view of the lake was stunning. Perfect spot for watching the sunrise. Excellent staff members. Very kind and relaxed, not pushing. Very willing to help. We could leave our backpacks in a locked room while we did another trip of 2 nights. Helped us book every single detail of our trip. Arranged a comfortable stay at the illala ferry in detail. Zikomo kwambiri!

CAThe room was really nice. Was able to watch the sunrise from there.
Food was ok, could have been better. Tried to go out for most meals but you had to walk about 20 min. Water levels are really high right now so there really isn’t much beach but there are only a few chairs to enjoy the view from that area. Night guard doesn’t speak English so when you need help with something there was no one around.
USGreat spot with beautiful views of the lake and the port. Central location to town, yet also felt very quiet, chill, and away from it all. Lots of beautiful common spaces by the water, or in the bar/restaurant area to relax or socialize. Staff was wonderful and very helpful.
The rooms are down quite a hill from the road to water. So if you’re scared of steps, this might not be the place. I saw it as a benefit, as it makes the rooms more private, along the water and farther from the road.
USI really enjoyed my time at Soul Rebel! There dorm is very nice and spacious. The restaurant had nice food and good amount of options. Free paddleboards make for a great afternoon activity! This is a great stopover for those heading in or out of Malawi from Tanzania!
The dorm had only one fan, so it was a little hot. Wifi only works in restaurant, wasn't a problem for me, but just good to know.
