We had a great experience staying at this apartment in Kotor. Even though we didn’t meet the host in person, she was always available on WhatsApp and very responsive. She sent clear instructions to find the apartment and also shared tips on getting around the city. During our stay, it was carnival week, and she even gave us the event details along with alternate walking routes to the Old Town—which were genuinely helpful. The apartment was fresh, spotless, and well-equipped. It had a small kitchen, a living room with a TV and air conditioning, and everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. It’s located just a 5-minute walk from the Old Town, with a shortcut that makes it even quicker. The neighborhood felt safe at all times. This is a ground-floor unit of a house—so if you’re expecting scenic views, just know that’s not what this place offers. But honestly, that didn’t bother us. It was quiet, private, and practical. The host also helped us sort out the city tax quickly (on request) and arranged a 5:30 am taxi to the airport, which made our departure stress-free. Important tip for future guests: don’t forget to pay the city tax. It’s €1 per person per night, and you’re legally required to register. If you skip it, you risk getting fined at the border when leaving Montenegro. Either follow the pink instruction sheet in the apartment or ask the host directly. She helped us get it sorted in less than 10 minutes. Overall, I’d absolutely return. It’s a great location, a clean and functional apartment, and a very helpful host. Loved our stay.

a few small suggestions—not complaints: • It would be great to have two extra pillows on the bed. There were just two, and while that’s manageable, a couple more would’ve been nice. • Like many Eastern European homes, the washing machine is in the bathroom. Just a heads-up in case you’re not used to that. • The air conditioner is in the living room, not the bedroom. It worked fine for us—we kept the door open and the cool air circulated—but in hotter months, it might get warm in the bedroom if the door’s closed. • The shower gel and shampoo were provided in large bottles. Personally, I’d prefer smaller single-use packs, but again, not a big issue.

Located in the quiet area, few minutes walk to the old town. Very stylish and comfortable apartment. Great communication with the owner.

La proprietaria super accogliente ci ha fatto trovare tutto il necessario e anche di più. Appartamentino accogliente, con piccolo giardino privato, a due passi dal centro storico con parcheggio privato dove abbiamo potuto lasciare la macchina anche un giorno in più. Assolutamente raccomandato ci ritornerei

Marina couldn’t do enough for you, from helping us know what was a reasonable price to pay for a taxi from the airport, preventing us being overcharged. She was able to accommodate our early check in and when we got to the room it was spotless and the WiFi worked perfectly. Marina checked in on us throughout the weekend over message to see if we needed anything and was able to give us a heads up about a national holiday which would mean supermarkets would be shut.
